Software Requirements
For correct work of JeraSoft VCS you need to fulfill next software requirements:
- OS: latest CentOS 6.x 64-bit or RedHat EL 6.x 64-bit (for brand-name servers), use minimal configuration
- Disk: we recommend keeping only "/" and "/boot" partitions; "/" should have the most space allocated
- Firewall: disable during installation period and configure correctly after finish
All installation process of the JeraSoft VCS is performed by our qualified engineers.
Hardware Requirements
The following configurations will provide stable and failure-free production environment under chosen JeraSoft VCS license. When choosing server hardware, please make sure that all components are compatible with recommended operating systems.
Pay attention to that usage of services like calls authorization, routing, active calls tracking may require more powerful configurations in case of high CPS, low ASR / ACD parameters. We always recommend to consult with our engineers before obtaining a hardware.
Given configurations are for ASR 30-40% and ACD 3-4 min. Actual performance of the server includes many factors, and also very depends on number of call attempts, not only monthly call minutes amount. Please take this note into consideration when purchasing hardware for your JeraSoft VCS.
Please also note, that VCS requires a dedicated server, which means that installation is impossible on virtual machine or on server, which has other software products installed.

- CPU: Intel® Xeon® 5500 Series (2.13 Ghz or more)
- Number of CPUs: 1
- RAM: 4 Gb or more
- HDD subsystem: 160Gb+ SATA II HDD or better
JeraSoft VCS Medium
- CPU: Intel® Xeon® 5600 Series (2.8 Ghz or more)
- Number of CPUs: 1 or 2
- RAM: 8 Gb or more
- HDD subsystem: 300Gb+ SATA II HDD or better RAID 1 setup
- Hardware RAID controlled with 256+Mb of cache is recommended (for example, HP Smart Array P410i)
JeraSoft VCS Large
- CPU: Intel® Xeon® 5600 Series (2.8 Ghz or more)
- Number of CPUs: 2 or 4
- RAM: 16 Gb or more
- HDD subsystem: 500Gb+ SAS RAID 1+0 setup
- Hardware RAID controlled with 256+Mb of cache is required (for example, HP Smart Array P410i)
JeraSoft VCS Ultimate
Minimum Requirements
- CPU: Intel® Xeon® 6500/7500 series (2.8 Ghz or more)
- Number of CPUs: 4 or 8
- RAM: 32 Gb or more
- HDD subsystem: 800Gb+ SSD RAID 1+0 setup with 8 or more hard drives
- Hardware RAID controlled with 256+Mb of cache is required (for example, HP Smart Array P410i)
